[EN] Pedram Kargar studied electronic engineering in Iran. When he arrived in Belgium he opted for an additional artistic training as an animation filmmaker. Kargar migrates the medium-specific technical and conceptual parameters in his ‘animalogical’ installations, where he transforms the methodology of animation into spatial metaphors.
[NL] Pedram Kargar studeerde elektronische engineering in Iran. Toen hij in België belandde opteerde hij voor een bijkomende artistieke opleiding als animatiefilmer. De mediumspecifieke technische en conceptuele kunstgrepen trekt Kargar door in zijn ‘animalogische’ installaties, waar hij de methodiek van animatie omzet in ruimtelijke metaforen.

Writers of all sorts embarked on a collective journey to explore the erotic through workshops with Els Moors and special guests. The public presentations and readings in Brussels are open to [removed];The new magazine of this Brussels Edition will be available at nadine’s table during WIELS Art Book Fair, and in our library / shop.

Deelnemers werden uitgenodigd voor workshops erotisch schrijven, begeleid door Els Moors en in conversatie met gastauteurs. De publieke presentaties in Brussel zijn voor iedereen toegankelijk. Het nieuwe magazine van deze Brussel Editie zal beschikbaar zijn aan nadine’s tafel tijdens WIELS Art Book Fair, en in onze bibliotheek / shop.

[EN] Congo Mania is a project initiated by Freddy Mutombo (BE/DRC) where he freely deploys photography, video, sound and performance to uncover hidden, historical layers between Congo and Belgium. Together with photographer Dolet Malalu (DRC), he is working on an exhibition, departing from the urban context in their own habitats Brussels and Kinshasa.

[n0dine] Constant_V on the move with Rita-Josy Haddoub, Claire Williams, The Underground Vision, Jen Debauche 24/10 – 27/10/2024 — expo
[EN] Constant invites four artists who previously showed work in their vitrine in Forest. This group show in n0dine connects past and present conditions, urgencies and states of consciousness. The projects were part of Constant_V, a series of small-scale installations with a view on free and open source culture.
[NL] Constant nodigt vier kunstenaars uit die in het verleden exposeerden in hun vitrine in Vorst. Deze groepstentoonstelling vormt een ‘afterlife’ en verbindt condities van het verleden en het heden, urgenties en de staat van het bewustzijn. De projecten maakten deel uit van Constant_V, een reeks van kleinschalige installaties met een kijk op een vrije open source cultuur.
