Invitation Opening 15 June: Guy Woueté & The Constant Now

Please join for the opening event of our Summer Exhibitions 2024 in the presence of all the participating artists. The programme includes a film focus by Guy Woueté, a performance by Shen Özdemir, a new edition of Kitchen Stories and a DJ-set by Brahim Tall based on Mark Fisher’s ‘No More Miserable Monday Mornings’.

This solo exhibition presents an overview of Guy Woueté's oeuvre over the past twenty [removed];Bijoux Cailloux takes a cue from the context of Njombé-Penja in Cameroon, where the artist set up WAKA Studio: an institution, artistic laboratory and studio for artists and local communities.

Bijoux Cailloux is an intermediate stage in an ongoing, multi-year development project centered around WAKA at NW.

A group exhibition in which the seven artists from The Constant Now's POC POC mentoring programme explore the role of work in society.

How Aalst showed solidarity with Spanish fellow citizens in 1976. The second in a series of archive presentations chronicling tales from the progressive past of Aalst and the Dender region.

From Sunday [removed], the exhibitions can be visited during our usual opening hours: Thursday to Sunday from 13:00 to 18:00.

For our film programme, check our calendar. There are films every Tuesday and Friday at 20:00, sometimes extra screenings on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and a breakfast film on the last Sunday of the month.
