From bottom to top and back again, this issue is dedicated to the motif High, with all its connected meanings. We encounter physical, mental, and social states of up and down, high and low, how they relate to each other and yet constantly contradict. Inside are tales of drug history, addiction, the reproduction crisis, hopes and disappointments, radiation with benefits, high-pitched dolphin tones, and even a frightened cupcake.

Dive Lounge After Dark: MPR London Party at Ormside Projects, Bermondsey

Montez Press Radio in London invites you to our end of year party THIS FRIDAY at Ormside Projects, celebrating another year of our London programming and all the incredible artists who make it possible ft: Gabriela Cala Lesina, angelicaa, Maria Mahfooz and Hugo Hutchins, live music in the Dive Lounge from Nicky Harris, The Pegwells, Midgitte Bardot & Sharon Le Grand, DJs P-WAVE, KUNTEAA and [removed];

You can expect chaotic cabaret, special guests, queer country and a brand new take on the Dive Lounge from P-WAVE, who will present a reimagined DJ [removed];

This event is the finale of our year long Dive Lounge project. Queering and subverting the classic BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge format, Dive Lounge invites musicians, performers and live artists to perform a set of their own songs and cover versions. Dive Lounge is devised by Nicky Harris in collaboration with Montez Press Radio, produced by Emily Pope and Poppy Moroney and supported by Arts Council England and PRS [removed];
