MPR July Schedule
Monday July 17th live from 46 Canal Street at 8pm for LUNGCHELLA featuring PINK LÜNG, CAVITY, CLEO WALKS THROUGH GLASS, DAVID KRATOMBERG, HEARTCOREGIRL, and GOLDEN_GUAPS.
Saturday July 22nd we’re broadcasting from Mexico City live from Centro Cultural Calpulli at Mercado Jamaica from 2-7pm with shows from SEXTO, Compas88, Pável Rodríguez, Noé Garcíat, Wendy Cabrera Rubio, Manuel Delgado Plazola, Paloma Contreras Lomas, Carla Lamoyi, and Olga Rodríguez Montemayor.
Monday the 24th we’re back at 46 Canal Street with broadcasts from Logo Daedalus, K Bailey Obazee, Anita Marante and Kevin Siwoff, Your Danso, Janet Xmas and Bret Schneider, followed by live performances from African American Sound Recordings, Slipper, and Callahan & Witscher at 8pm.
Tuesday the 25th we’ll be live from 7pm at Ergot Records for a performance by Ellen Zweig.
On Wednesday the 26th we’ll be hearing from Emily Simon, Logan Lockner, Art Against Displacement, Michael Cavadias, Chris Crawford, Cale Brooks, Caroline Debnam, Josephine Sales, Aria Dean, Emmanuel Olunkwa, Tim Lessick, Thanh Nguyen, The Whitney Review, and Nick Klein.
Thursday July 27th we’ll be live from Avalon Cafe in South London from 3-9pm UK time with shows from London regulars performingborders, Gabriela Cala-Lesina with guests Christa Holka and Roman Manfredi, Maggie Matić, Maria Mahfooz, Hugo Hutchins and Angelicaaa with guest Florence Warner, culminating with a special performance broadcast ‘Dive Lounge’ with Nicky Harris, featuring Midgitte Bardot and Amardeep Singh Dhillon.
Then join us in NYC at 8pm EST as we continue our residency with The Kitchen, where bedroom pop sensation and prolific public performer Mat Kastella will debut songs off of their upcoming self-titled EP, live with backup dancers at The Performing Arts Stage at Port Authority Bus Terminal. Immediately following the performance, we will head over to McAnn’s Pub (adjacent to The Performing Arts Stage) for DJ sets by Club Cringe until [removed];
And on Sunday 30th July we’ll be rounding off the month with a broadcast from Storefront for Art and Architecture for their series “On the Ground: Broadcasts”, this episode dedicated to “Void”.
