WIELS is devoting two floors to Belgian artist Didier Vermeiren with its major retrospective Double Exposition. This exhibition includes sculptures and photography from the past four decades by one of Europe’s most important sculptors, who dares to literally turn reality upside down. Following the example of Rodin, Vermeiren places reproduction at the heart of the creative process: replication, doubling and inversion are constants in his [removed];
