Dear Gallery Enthusiast,
This time instead of an email about an upcoming exhibition, a personal email from me. It will not surprise you that Covid and the lockdowns have also been a difficult time for me as a gallery owner. The period after proved even more challenging. That is why I have made the difficult decision to close the gallery.
This does not change the fact that I look back on the past five years in a very positive way. First of all I would like to thank the artists who have put their trust in me over the years and with whom we have made the gallery what it is today. You really build something together and become a kind of family.
I would also like to thank all the people who have followed the gallery. A gallery does not exist without visitors. Without people watching and reacting. It has been a huge privilege for me to have these encounters and conversations. Not only with the artists, but also with the visitors. And for that I am very grateful to all of you.
The current group exhibition Quintessence runs until this Saturday, October 1.
The final exhibition is a solo exhibition with new work by Marjolein Rothman. The exhibition will run from October 8 – November 5. I hope to see many of you in the coming period.
