Art historian Philippe Pirotte recently came to WIELS to discuss an unrealised project of Lucy Raven that served as the genesis of Another  Dull Day.

The title Another Dull Day was borrowed from George Herriman’s Krazy Kat comic (1913-1944) depicting a love triangle between a mouse, a cat and a dog. Their circular chase plays out in the iconic landscapes of the Western United states.

On the same day we will close the season with a festive finale. Tatiana Kochubinska (UA) is an independent curator, writer, researcher and teacher. She worked with Bosmans when he was part of the prestigious Pinchuk Art Prize.

Samuel Saelemakers is curator of the Kunst in de Stad collection in Antwerp. From 2012 to 2019 Saelemakers was curator at Kunstinstituut Melly where he curated a solo exhibition with Kasper Bosmans.
