July Interjection: PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR by Ingrid Banerjee Marvin

Ingrid Banerjee Marvin is a Producer, Writer and Researcher from Stoke-on-Trent. Her first novel ‘House of Olympus’ was shortlisted for the Avon x Mushens Entertainment Prize. As a producer, she has worked in venues including the Bush Theatre, National Theatre, Tamasha Theatre and East Street Arts. She co-created ‘Dismantle this Room’ an interactive theatre performance exploring privilege in the theatre industry (Royal Court, 2018). She is currently part of Babeworld, an organisation that aims to create a more representative art world through creating art, fundraising/creating grants, and facilitation of events – for those marginalised in the arts. She publishes her writing monthly via the Babeworld Patreon.

MPR x Summer in CIQ Square, Sheffield

MPR has a feast of arts radio for you this summer, kickstarting with five days of guest curated broadcasts organized by Sy Shinar with curators Maassai, Cierra MicheIIe Peters, LUNáTICA and Contour from Wednesday the 13th to Sunday the 17th of July, followed by our regularly scheduled broadcasting from Tuesday the 26th which also includes a day of guest curation from Iarlaith Ni Fheorais.

Saturday the 16th curated by Sy Shinar.

Sunday the 17th curated by Contour.

Tuesday the 26th with contributions from Various Artists, MV Carbon, Ivan Berko and Torn Hawk.

Wednesday the 27th with Issue Project Room, Josh Gwynn, Leila Day, James T Green and Theodore (ted) Kerr, Ethan Philbrick, Moriah Evans, Gryphon Rue, Rip Hayman, Nkhensani Mkhari, Christian Lorentzen, Caroline Debnam, Zain Khalid, Hubert Adjei-Kontoh, Jeffrey Joe Nelson, Jessica Au, Channel PTP, Vanessa Place, and MarieVic.

Thursday the 28th we’re broadcasting from London with guest curator Iarlaith Ni Fheorais, featuring Marlo Mortimer, Bridget O’Gorman, Aishling-Ór Ní Aodha, Francis Whorall Campbell, Maïa Nunes, Alice, Ebun Sodipo, Pelumi Adejumo, Lina (Dani Smith), Berenice, Saati J Conran-McCormack. Then we’re back from NYC with Eric Schmid, Alex Boland, Max Guy, Laszlo Horvath, Rockaway Development and Revitalization Corporation, Connor Wright, Samara Lubelski, Cara Mayer, and Lena Greene.

Friday the 29th with Anja Dietmann, Hanne Darboven, Topical Cream and Mark Kostabi.
