REWINDING INTERNATIONALISM

EXHIBITION – With work by Didem Pekün, susan pui san lok and Wendelien van Oldenborgh, a research presentation and Belgian New Beat. Curated by Nick Aikens.
The exhibition draws from the [removed];During the decade, the ascendancy of globalisation coincided with the revival of ethnonationalisms within Europe. Within the art world a ‘New Internationalism’ was embraced, calling for an end to the centring of Western European and US positions.
