Welcome back to WIELS! Tomorrow night we celebrate the opening of the long-awaited exhibition Marcel Broodthaers – Industrial Poems, Open Letters that brings together for the first time the plastic plates of the famous conceptual artist. Opening in parallel is the solo exhibition of R. H. Quaytman presenting a new body of paintings: Modern Subjects, Chapter Zero. Do you remember this installation from the exhibition Risquons-Tout? On 18 and 19 September, Tarek Lakhrissi’s postponed performance will finally take place in and around this work. Between teenage room and dreamscape, Lahkrissi delves into feelings of otherness during this lyrical reflection on alternative worlds of queer and minority communities.
