The Brussels Gallery Weekend is bringing an ambitious program for it’s 14th edition!
From 9 to 12 September, galleries, institutions, artist run spaces,… will open their doors and welcome [removed];This fourteenth edition of the Gallery Weekend knows no limits: participants brought together high quality exhibitions, carefully curated walking trails, guided tours of different neighbourhoods, and a podcast for visitors to listen to as they move between galleries. This year features exhibitions in 46 galleries and 14 guest venues, alongside projects from two ex cathedra, as well as the “Generation Brussels” exhibition, which is celebrating its fourth edition this year by inviting a special curator-duo. GENERATION BRUSSELS
This year, the two Belgian curators Dagmar Dirckx & Zeynep Kubat are in charge. They have collaborated with the artists to develop a transdisciplinary exhibition exploring themes around identity, gender or our relationship to space and the environment. Represented artists are : Karolien Chromiak, Clémentine Coupau, Thiaba Diop Egutchi, Günbike Erdemir, Eléonore Joulin, Axel Korban, Rebecca Quix, Estelle Saignes, Jean-Samuel N’Sengi, Ugo Woatzi .

One brand new feature of this year’s Gallery Weekend will allow visitors to listen to the voices of the gallery owners and artists while walking around. Different podcastsabout the exhibitions will be available to download from our website or via a QR code which will be displayed at the entrances to the galleries. In a similar vein, the magazines Camera Austria and L’Oeil have put together “Curated Audio Tours” highlighting their selected commentaries. Another initiative at this year’s event enables visitors to focus on visiting galleries grouped by [removed];
