Elke Andreas Boon

Berserk Art Agency is delighted to announce the representation of Elke Andreas Boon. For more than 10 years Berserk Art Agency has been following the work of this fascination artist who’s oeuvre is as diverse as the media she uses.

Elke Andreas Boon creates photos, drawings, sculptures, and video work. From these she makes installations, in which she confronts the various works with one another. The base of Boon’s work is formed by her innate fascination with people, their emotions and uncertainties. As an artist, her power lies in locating difficult to define human sensitivities, laying them bare, and raising them to a level of aesthetic awareness. Her work couples a poetic and escapist imagination with a raw vision on our human condition.
By assembling her photos, drawings, videos, and sculptures in the same space, Elke Andreas creates an environment where hyper-individualistic feelings are sublimated into a sense of ephemeral beauty. –

Kristof Van Heeschvelde

Kristof Van Heeschvelde is awarded a 2 month long research residency supported by the Flemish Government at Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris in the Summer of 2022.

Kristof Van Heeschvelde will focus on the unique collections of Renaissance painters at Musée du Louvre and Musée d’Orsay and study the old master’s techniques.

Berserk Art Agency will present a series of Kristof’s silverpoint drawings at Art On Paper. Silverpoint drawing was a technique used by the Renaissance masters to sketch and prepare their often monumental works.

Last weeks of Trienale of Bruges: Bilal Bahir’s works is part of the current Bruges Trienale’s exhibition ‘Poreuze Stad/Porous City’ curated Els Wuyts, revolving around the theme of TraumA. Bahir’s work can be seen in the Triennal’s group exhibition at Poortersloge, until [removed].
