OPENING GREGOR SCHNEIDER TOTE RÄUME Met ‘Tote Räume’ realiseert West Den Haag de eerste solotentoonstelling van de wereldberoemde kunstenaar in Nederland. Een project waarbij Schneider op zijn eigen, radicale en vindingrijke manier het verband tussen kunst, maatschappij en de omgang met onze historie reflecteert. De voormalige Amerikaanse ambassade in Den Haag vormt de basis voor een nieuwe installatie waarbij de verschillende kamers en objecten met de omgeving versmelten. With Gregor Schneider’s ‘Tote Räume’, West Den Haag is realising the first solo exhibition of the world-famous artist in The Netherlands. A project in which Schneider, in his own, radical and inventive way, reflects on the connection between art, society and the way we deal with our history. The former American embassy in The Hague is the basis for a new installation in which the various rooms and objects merge with their surroundings.
