For its 13th edition, the Brussels Gallery Weekend is getting a makeover !
From 3 to 6 September, amateurs and collectors are invited to discover 38 galleries, a large off program, projects initiated with the different associations, a brand new website and the unmissable exhibition Generation Brussels !This new very special edition will be full of surprises and novelties.
A BRAND NEW WEBSITE In addition to this year’s opening of 38 galleries in the city, BGW has a new website. Detailed information is brought to you so you can prepare you visits. There you can have a preview of the shows but also download the map of the galleries or have a look at the small events. In addition, the site will host an online cultural program and offer workshops and online talks for young and [removed];
A NEW GENERATION BRUSSELS This year, Generation Brussels is reinventing itself and taking over public space. This touring exhibition, curated by Evelyn Simons, will showcase the work of 12 young national artists in shop-windows across [removed];A breath of fresh air will blow through the streets of the Belgian capital allowing everyone to stroll among the works of art between upper and downtown Brussels
GET INVOLVED! For its 13th edition, BGW invites you to come and celebrate 10 years of collaboration with different [removed];The Info Point, located in the former Taschen bookshop at the heart of the Sablons district, will host IRSA‘s children’s creations, made in collaboration with Brussels [removed];It will also be an opportunity to DONATE ART AND CRAFT MATERIALS to be redistributed to Brussels-based pediatric services and children’s hospital wards in collaboration with the association Le Pont des Arts.
GUIDED TOURS As part of the event’s educational iniative, a team of qualified students will help you discover artists, galleries, institutions et non-profit venues.
