, Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, and Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art are pleased to stream [removed] (2020), a new video by Tony Cokes.

A gut punch, a call to action, and a reckoning with complicity, [removed] animates words recently spoken by Tina Campt and Saidiya Hartman, and crackles with a soundtrack by UK producer and DJ Caspa.
Goldsmiths and Carpenter Center presented volumes 1 and 2 of Cokes’s solo exhibition If UR Reading This It’s 2 Late between September 2019 and March 2020. will open volume 3 on 5 September 2020.

In Tokyo Giants, Nicolas Provost takes his hidden camera to the hyperkinetic streets of Tokyo in search for the mystery of reality. The paths of a number of archetypical Japanese pop cultural protagonists’ cross and merge into a powerful climax that cannot be resolved.
