A festival focussing on the weather and changing environments wouldn’t be complete without the medium of radio: a continuous radio stream will be running throughout our festival, 24 hours a [removed];The stream begins at 8:00 on May 1st, and features live recordings of concerts, conversations, and talks, alongside playlists curated by Q-O2 employees and interns, programs focusing on special artists within this year’s theme, live radio performances, ambient sounds from the concert venues, and dawn choruses from around the [removed];The radio schedule can be found here, allowing you to mark your favorite broadcasts in advance. ThisSaturday at 14:00, we unofficially kick off the festival at Kiosk Radio, with a festival preview made by our dearest interns Gustave Muhozi and Billy [removed];Below, we highlight some of the categories within our radio program :::
Focus on
The ‘focus on’ programs highlight special artists or initiatives that are or have been active within the festival’s theme, including the following:

Live radio performances
Radio as a performative medium is also featured, with some events open to live audiences, while others take place in remote locations or even across continents. These include:
Tsonami – Temporal (Valparaíso), Amber Meulenijzer – SAAB Studio (3 episodes), Dawn Chorus w/ Nele Möller, Gabi Schaffner & Ernst Markus Stein (Datscha Radio: attendable at Marais Wiels on 1/05 and at Jean-Felix Hap Park on 3/05), and Lieven Martens & Simon Van Honacker (attendable at La C******* on 4/05).

Night soundscapes
Our radio stream doesn’t stop during the night: after the concerts at Le Brass, it features a soundscape of the Marais Wiels; following those at BIS, a soundscape of its surroundings; and on Saturday night, dawn choruses from around the world, collected by SoundTent.
