Joana Preiss is an artist, stage and screen actress, performer, and [removed];
She began her acting career in theater with Pascal Rambert and in film with Olivier Assayas and Christophe Honoré.
She has also collaborated with contemporary Artists such as Nan Goldin and Ugo Rondinone.
She directed Siberie, her first feature film, followed by Silent Asylum and Lands Close to Paterson.
An artist and musician, she regularly creates unique and organic sung performances focusing on improvisation and using her Voice as an instrument, a Capella, in interaction with Artworks & [removed];
She is currently developing the performance adaptation of her poetic Opera Terrestre X Tra, as well as her creation La Traducción, and the post-production of her feature film Sangre.
