GG 01 – Principium is the first exhibition of Gallery Gallery, and a tautology.
The origin of the term refers to both ‘beginning’ and ‘principle’, as to suggest that the fear of facing the vacuum offers, at the same time, the chance to recognise the essence of things.
The exhibition comprises of 5 authors – A JDVIV, Pier Vittorio Aureli, Aglaia Konrad, Pezo Von Ellrichshausen, Maxime Prananto – whose works capture that initial creative impulse towards something new, as well as the foundation for a system of core beliefs or ideas.
