Mark your calendars for Friday, September 27, when we will open three new exhibitions:
In Century Bingo, Bassem Saad addresses the American Century through film, writing, performance and installation. Alongside previous works, Saad presents Permanent Trespass, a new film installation developed in collaboration with author Sanja Grozdanić. This work is co-commissioned by NW and EMPAC in Troy, New [removed];
Heavy Air is a duo exhibition that brings together the distinct yet thematically resonant practices of Antonia Brown & Tom Hallet. The title of the show is borrowed from a text by Anne Boyer. Air is the place where ideas form, angels dwell, storms gather and fires [removed];
In Info~Angel: The New Reform Postcard Show, we revisit the first exhibition of artists' postcards, organised by Roger D'Hondt in 1973 at his New Reform Gallery in Aalst, with contributions by Joseph Beuys, James Lee Byars, Johan van Geluwe, Daniel Buren, Wolf Vostell and Yoko Ono.
