The countdown to the 16th edition of Brussels Gallery Weekend is well underway, with just a few weeks remaining! Boasting the participation of 45 galleries and 14 institutions in the Off Program, we guarantee that our upcoming program will be brimming with delightful surprises. To ensure you’re fully equipped to embrace the enriching array of activities scheduled from September 7 to 10, here are some useful tips to guide you:

Generation Brussels 

The 2023 Generation Brussels exhibition, titled “Cet obscur objet du désir,” curated by Sam Steverlynck, draws its name from Luis Buñuel’s surrealist masterpiece of [removed];As a result, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey oscillating between desire and repulsion, phantasms and impulses, and the known and the [removed];

Globe Aroma

Egoo Dallas, Mirra Markaheva, Nastasya Kharytonova, & Youssef Moukil, four of the artists active in the artistic workspace of Globe Aroma, showcase a selection of their works in the form of three tiny solo shows / art interventions in D’Ieteren space, establishing a dialogue with the infrastructure, the works of other invited artists, and the audience.

Ateliers Indigo

Ateliers Indigo supports around twenty artists with disabilities in its plastic arts, performing arts and music workshops. At the invitation of Brussels Gallery Weekend, Collective Indigo presents 12 artists in an exhibition curated by Ateliers Indigo Collection managers Bérénice Merlet and Armand [removed];With the artists : Saaber Bachir, Matilde Carli, Florian Célis, Edouardo della Faille, Alice Forsberg, Dahlia Hamdi, Patrick Minet, Sidoline Nlandu Wa Buke, Yann Piette, Pedro Ribeiro, Clara Vandebotermet, Michael Verhaeghe.

Stockmans Art Books / Hopper&Fuchs

Bruno Devos, the art book curator and publisher behind Stockmans Art Books and HOPPER&FUCHS, will showcase his [removed];A core tenet of his curation is providing a safe haven for books to act as tools for artists to connect with their audiences. Join us for a rhythmic art book installation and engage in conversations about book publishing, creation, and [removed];
