WIELS is devoting two floors to Belgian artist Didier Vermeiren with its major retrospective Double Exposition. This exhibition includes sculptures and photography from the past four decades by one of Europe’s most important sculptors, who dares to literally turn reality upside down. “The exhibition must be experienced in situ, in contact with the sculptures and the space around them, to immerse oneself both in the physical presence of the works and in the absence of traditional sculpture. “
