We’re excited to host our first London Fundraiser event for Montez Press Radio on Thursday December 8th. We’ve got an incredible line up, with performances and sets by Babeworld X Utopian Realism, P-WAVE, Mander, Emily Pope, Hasti, Saucy Sez, WAJ, Terribilis, Mellowdramatics and UH (live). Doors at 7pm, performances & live music from 8pm, DJ sets from 10pm – late!

MPR Art Sale Fundraiser

In the attached preview, you’ll find select works generously donated by artists and galleries that have contributed to the station in the past. All proceeds will go directly to any artists that have requested an artist’s share, and the remaining balance will support MPR’s operating costs and artist commissions for the year ahead. Montez Press Radio invites you to see the work in person and enjoy an evening of readings and performances at Kai Matsumiya’s new gallery at 264 Canal St, Suite 5E on December 10th. The event begins at 6pm and will feature Alexandra Tatarsky, Elliot Reed, Morgan Bassichis, Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste, and Arjun Ram Srivatsa.

November Interjection: ORANGE by Kondo

Kondo Heller (she/they) is a poet, writer, and experimental filmmaker. They are a Barbican Young Poet 18/19, an Obsidian Foundation fellow, Ledbury Critic, and Image Text Ithaca Junior Fellow. At the moment, they are particularly interested in static sound as a portal of recollection, communion, and archive. They are currently an MFA in Poetry candidate and first year writing seminar lecturer at Cornell University.

Launch of Pfeil #16, the Friend Issue at Bar Collo, Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof

Launch of the 16th issue of Pfeil Magazine, dedicated to “Friend”, at Bar Collo, Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof, Germany, on Saturday 17th December at 7pm. There will be a reading by Stacy Skolnik, hit after hit played by Cordula and Regina Peper, “Peeled Off” performed by David Fletcher, and you can find your perfect platonic match through the exchange of friendship bracelets made by Anne Schwä[removed];

The event will be held as part of the bookfair Booky McBookface from 16th to 18th December, where you can find us at the Montez booth. Times TBA.
