Watch artists DIY TV. Read texts by Vanessa Joan Müller and Agnieszka Gratza. Walk through Aalst and admire the work of Renée Lorie. Turn your living room into a cinema with our film tips. In the meantime, we welcome The Post Collective behind the scenes and are already looking forward to May and the opening of Jeremiah Day’s exhibition Citoyenne Reprise.

TRANSMISSIONS

ONLINE TV – During the ongoing pandemic, for many artists, writers and thinkers, exhibitions, opportunities and subsequent fees are postponed or cancelled. In response, TRANSMISSIONS was founded in 2020 as an online platform that commissions artists to share their work within a classic TV format.

Watch the second episode of the new 2021 season on 28 April at 10pm ECT or on 30 April at 11am ECT.

SAFE ALIENATION

TEXT – Vanessa Joan Müller wrote about Todd Haynes’ masterpiece Safe. Müller wrote this contribution in the framework of the project Unrelated. Unrelated is a kind of background sound to the programme of Netwerk Aalst.
