Introducing: acid poetry

Hi there,

believe it or not, but today marks a new day in the history of Dutch poetry, as I’m very proud to announce the invention of a new genre! Re:Folies Bar is my take on Paul van Ostaijen’s Folies Bar, as part of deBuren’s Besmette stad project. For this project I collaborated with Dutch producer Endfest, together we decided to aim for all future dancefloors, as you’ll hear. Please don’t hesitate to spread the word, I’ll be forever grateful of that!

That being said, I’m still compiling most of my poetry and print work of the last couple of years on bandcamp. Some of it is free, some merch is not, as you’ll see. Recent updates include my 2015 collaboration with poet Malik Ameer Crumpler, a silk-screened t-shirt and another riso [removed];

Don’t forget to get your copies of Dichters van wacht’s We zouden naar zee gaan volume and Zwemlessen voor later by Klimaatdichters, and keep your eyes open for the forthcoming Sprekende Ezels calendar (pre-ordering here)!

Groetjes, or:
wishing you the very best,

Alex

PS there is more:

Last week I sat down for a webcam interview with Bruzz’s finest Kurt Snoeckx, read the article here.
Watch Daan Appels’s video of Charlotte Jacobs and myself performing a version of ‘Autobiografie van een koer’ last December.
Episode 22 of ‘Great, life is great, when drunk with (fill in your name)! Listen over here, you won’t regret it, promised!
