Tomorrow starts Paris Gallery Weekend!
In the frame of Art Across Europe, Brussels Gallery Weekend is pleased to support the first gallery weekend happening this year: Paris Gallery Weekend from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th July 2020, where art lovers once again can physically encounter exhibited works of art.
For its 7 th edition, Paris Gallery Weekend offers, for the first time, a four-day programme. The selection reflects the diversity of Paris galleries of modern and contemporary art as well as the important developments that the Parisian market has experienced. The event highlights the galleries: their spaces, their role, their artists and the gallery owners who promote them.
Paris Gallery Weekend is an event for both specialists and the general public (7500 visitors in 2019), entirely free of charge. It is aimed at collectors as well as amateurs, both experienced and novice. For 2020, in order to help visitors find their way around the programme, Paris Gallery Weekend is organising events in galleries by neighbourhood including a new geographical location, Greater Paris, with Pantin and Romainville.
Festive and participative, the event offers a unique programme that is ideal for meetings and exchanges: 73 exhibitions including 48 solo shows, 25 group shows. In addition, thematic selections will be made by Paris Photo, Drawing Now and A round video Art Fair. |
