WIELS is visiting you at home with exclusive content and some tips to bring art from the world directly to you.
This week for our curated film programme, we present two video works by former artists in residence who both take as their point of departure the work of another artist: In The Man Who from 2019 Yuki Okumura interviews several individuals about their memories of an unnamed conceptual artist, while in Rolling a Joint from 2015 Simnikiwe Buhlungu dissects, annotates, and performs a reading of Spike Lee’s screenplays.
Enjoy!
