   Don’t you know who I am? – Art after Identity Politics

STRT Kit is een nieuwe samenwerking tussen Studio Start, Extra City Kunsthal en AIR Antwerpen. Het is een nieuwe vorm van ondersteuning voor beeldende kunstenaars tot 30 jaar die werken en/of wonen in Antwerpen. Dit internationaal platform biedt mogelijkheden om je artistieke praktijk verder te ontwikkelen op artistiek, administratief en financieel vlak. Opkomende kunstenaars kunnen STRT Kit gebruiken als inspiratiebron, meeting point en productie[removed];Interesse? // STRT Kit is a new partnership between Studio Start, Extra City Kunsthal and AIR Antwerpen. It is a new support initiative for visual artists up to 30 years old, who are working and/or living in Antwerpen. It’s an international platform offering possibilities to further your artistic practice financially and administratively. STRT Kit can be a source of inspiration, a meeting point or a production company. Interested?

Don’t You Know Who I Am? – Kunst na Identiteitspolitiek
Opening donderdag 12 juni, 20:00, M HKA

AIR residenten Augustas Serapinas, Juha Pekka Matias Laakkonen en Oscar Murillo tonen de projecten ontwikkeld tijdens hun residentie in de tentoonstelling Don’t You Know Who I Am? – Kunst na Identiteitspolitiek in het M HKA. De tentoonstelling loopt van 13 juni tot en met 14 september.

Opening Thursday 12 june, 8pm, M HKA

AIR residents Augustas Serapinas, Juha Pekka Matias Laakkonen and Oscar Murillo show their new art projects, developed during their residency in the exhibition Don’t You Know Who I Am? – Art after Identity Politics at M HKA. The group exhibition runs from June, 13th until September, 14th.

From Wantee to Some Signs
Opening zaterdag 14 juni, 19:00, Extra City Kunsthal

Tijdens haar werkperiode in AIR Antwerpen ontwikkelde Laure Prouvost een tweede deel van de tentoonstelling Wantee and Grandma’s Dream. Haar verblijf in Antwerpen maakte het mogelijk de oorspronkelijke installatie verder uit te bouwen door elementen toe te voegen zoals stemmen, licht, rekwisieten en sculpturale ingrepen.

Opening Saturday 14 June, 7pm, Extra City Kunsthal

During her stay at AIR Antwerpen Laure Prouvost developed a second part starting from the exhibition Wantee and Grandma’s Dream. For this second chapter Laure Prouvost altered the original installation by adding various new elements such as voices, lights, props and sculptural interventions.

Le Canal / Het kanaal 
Opening zaterdag 14 juni, 19:00, Extra City kunsthal

Het uitwisselingsproject Le Canal/ Het Kanaal nodigde Kasper Bosmans, Elise Eeraerts, Thomas Grodal, Antoine Van Impe, Xavier Mary, Fabien Rouwette, Jonathan Dewinter en Philippe Van Wolputte uit voor residenties te AIR Antwerpen en RAVI, Luik. Hun ervaringen zullen getoond worden in de finale groepstentoonstelling.

Opening Saturday 14 June, 7pm, Extra City Kunsthal

The exchange project Le Canal/ Het Kanaal invited Kasper Bosmans, Elise Eeraerts, Thomas Grodal, Antoine Van Impe, Xavier Mary, Fabien Rouwette, Jonathan Dewinter en Philippe Van Wolputte for residencies in AIR Antwerpen and RAVI in Liège. These experiences will be shown in this final group exhibition.
