Trajector 2013 – Priority/Fasttrack Applications

Trajector Art Fair 2013 is go! Trajector Art Fair 2013 will take place on 7 & 8 September 2013, coinciding with Brussels Art Days ([removed]) Just as we worked with Art Brussels with previous versions of the fair, so too are we working with Brussels Art Days to make the event fruitful for all.

 

As always, Trajector is open to non-profits, independent curators, project spaces and galleries. It is our intention to retain the overall balance of exhibitors. Sector is unimportant in how we offer places; quality of artists’ work/s shown is.

 

As with past years, we have identified certain ‘preferred’ agencies that we would ideally like to participate and offer them the first opportunity to secure their participation. Thus, we are contacting you ahead of the general call for other applications as potential ‘fasttrack’ applicants. In short, this means that we can process you application and secure your place faster than the normal process.

 

Based on the previous outings, we have decided to return to the original format in which the presentations of art will take place only in the hotel rooms on the first floor of Hotel Bloom and in some of the public spaces. The ‘Taut’ programme will return to the conference suites with some exciting new developments that will be announced shortly. We are confident that veterans of Trajector will concur that this is a sensible choice given that these rooms always seem to remain the ‘core’ of Trajector etc.

 

Naturally, this does mean that the number of participating exhibitors is limited and we already have 50% of the available spaces committed to ‘fasttrack’ exhibitors. Therefore, it’s very helpful if you let us know as soon as possible if you want to participate to avoid losing an allocated place.

 

The conditions for this year’s Trajector remain the same as the last one; cost-covering not organisational profit is our ethos in managing Trajector. In short, the participation fee is 750 euros for the use of the room as the exhibition space for the two days of the fair (Sat & Sun) as well as use of the room as accommodation for 3 nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

 

The full documentation detailing terms and conditions; schedules etc will be sent to all those expressing their interest in participating.
