POPPOSITIONS is een nieuwe off-fair die plaatsvindt tijdens Art Brussels, en opkomende kunstenaars en galeries toont die site-specific te werk gaan. In de architecturale setting van Bruxelles Congrès wordt een selectie van kunstwerken gepresenteerd in een doordachte interactie met de [removed];
Kunstbeurzen behoren vandaag tot de belangrijkste draaischijven in de hedendaagse kunstwereld, en bepalen zo mee de koers van de artistieke praktijk. POPPOSITIONS bezet Bruxelles Congrès met als doel een kritisch en gewaagd alternatief te bieden voor het overheersende model van kunstbeurzen, maar tegelijk garant te staan voor artistieke kwaliteit en internationale uitstraling.

POPPOSITIONS est une nouvelle foire off qui aura lieu pendant Art Brussels. Cette première édition se concentre sur des artistes émergents et des galeries fonctionnant sans espace fixe. Les oeuvres seront disposées en interaction délibérée avec le cadre architectural de la Gare Bruxelles Congrès.
Les foires d'art sont actuellement les principales sites d'échange de l'art contemporain, jouant un rôle de premier plan dans l'administration de la valeur et du sens de l'[removed];POPPOSITIONS s’empare de la gare du Bruxelles Congrés afin d’établir une alternative critique et inspirée au format conventionnel des foires d’art, tout en conservant un haut niveau de qualité et un attrait international.

POPPOSITIONS is a new off-fair taking place during Art Brussels and showcasing emerging artists and galleries working with site-specific exhibitions. A selection of artworks will be presented in deliberate interaction with the architectural setting of Bruxelles Congrès railway station.
Fairs are currently among the primary opportunities of exchange and interaction in contemporary art, playing a fundamental role in the process of establishing and administering the value and direction of art. POPPOSITIONS will occupy Bruxelles Congrès with the aim of establishing a critical and edgy alternative to the prevailing format while nurturing high artistic standard and international appeal.
