De 5de Biënnale voor Bewegend Beeld loopt nog tot en met zondag 30 oktober 2011. Je ontdekt film, video en installatiekunst op verrassende en unieke plekken in de historische binnenstad van Mechelen.

In oktober is er een extra aanbod. Het thema van Contour 2011 is ‘Sound and Vision: Beyond Reason’. Daarom brengen we een stevige portie muziek.

ROCKVILLE
Vrijdag 14, zaterdag 15 en zondag 16 oktober
Een gloednieuw festival met rockdocumentaires, concerten en bewegend beeld. Mis zeker de Belgische dvd-première niet van ‘1991: The Year Punk Broke’, dé tourdocumentaire over Nirvana en Sonic Youth. Meer details in een volgende nieuwsbrief.
Rockville is een project van Contour, Cultuurcentrum Mechelen en het Filmhuis.

Voor een bezoek aan Contour 2011 trek je best een halve dag uit. Die kan je gemakkelijk uitbreiden tot een hele dag in Mechelen. Op [removed] en in onze bezoekersgids vind je tal van leuke dingen die in de stad te zien of te beleven zijn.

Kijk zeker ook naar Vlaanderen Vakantieland op zaterdag 8 oktober (één, 18:10) of zondag 9 oktober (één, 17:15). Daarin komen Mechelen en Contour 2011 uitgebreid aan bod.

And October is offering something extra. The theme of Contour 2011 is ‘Sound and Vision: Beyond Reason’. Therefore we are also bringing you a healthy dose of music.

You can best allot half a day for a visit to Contour 2011. You can easily turn this into a whole day in Mechelen. At [removed] and in our visitor’s guide you can find numerous nice things to do and experience in the city.

Make sure you watch Vlaanderen Vakantieland on Saturday 8 October (één, 18:10) or Sunday 9 October (één, 17:15). The programme gives extensive coverage of Mechelen and Contour 2011.
