Galerie Greta Meert joins BRAFA this year with a carefully curated selection reflecting the gallery's artistic vision that has developed over its more than thirty-five years.  The presentation brings historical and contemporary practices into conversation, united by shared concerns for form, material, space, and continuity within art history.

The stand features important works by artists who shaped postwar abstraction and conceptual art, including Carla Accardi, John Baldessari, Enrico Castellani, Sol LeWitt, Robert Mangold, Shirley Jaffe, Lee Mullican and Antonio Sanfilippo, alongside a contemporary selection with Edith Dekyndt, David Claerbout, Magali Reus, Noam Rappaport, Didier Vermeiren, James White, Louise Lawler, and others. Donald Judd’s furniture completes the presentation, extending the dialogue between art, design and lived space.

Rather than offering a linear overview of art history, Galerie Greta Meert’s participation to BRAFA is guided by a desire to propose an experience meaningfully intertwining past and present, abstraction and structure, image and object, reflecting the gallery’s enduring conviction that art carries a universal and evolving language.
